     The Army Combat Fitness Test is the new physical test of record for the U.S. Army. This new test will require soldiers to train more comprehensively than ever before as it tests nearly all aspects of fitness including strength, power, speed, coordination, and endurance. The test is comprised of the following six events:

1) Three Repetition Maximum Deadlift

2) Standing Power Throw

3) Hand Release Push-up - Arm Extension

4) Sprint-Drag-Carry

5) Plank

6) Two Mile Run

The following months' programs will progress you further in your fitness journey and fluidly adjust as needed (I understand life happens!).

Level 1

This program is for those starting fresh in their fitness journey who want to build a solid foundation of both muscular strength and cardiorespiratory endurance.

Length of Program: 6 weeks 

Training Days Per Week: 3

Split: 1 lower body day, 1 upper body day, 1 full body day

Equipment Needed: Full gym (hex bar or barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells, bench, and sled; resistance bands preferred but not required)

ACFT
Level 2

This program is for those who have some experience in the weight room but want to take their physical fitness to the next level with a challenging, effective program and improve their ACFT score. 

$25 USD

Length of Program: 6 weeks 

Training Days Per Week: 5

Split: 2 lower body days (one with some cardio), 2 upper body days (with core), and 1 cardio day 

Equipment Needed: Full gym (hex bar or barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells, bench, and sled; resistance bands preferred but not required)

ACFT
Level 3

This program is for those experienced in the weight room who want to improve their overall fitness and ACFT score with a challenging, effective program designed to make great tactical athletes even greater.

Training Days Per Week: 5

Split: 2 lower body days (one with some cardio), 2 upper body days (with core), and 1 cardio day 

Equipment Needed: Full gym (hex bar or barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells, bench, and sled; resistance bands preferred but not required)

ACFT DumBbells & Bands Only

Consulting

This program is great for those of any fitness level with limited equipment who want to upkeep their physical fitness.

Deadlift & SPT Focused

This program is for those specifically wanting to improve in the deadlift and standing power throw portions of the ACFT, while up-keeping in other areas.

Training Days Per Week: 5

Split: 2 lower body days (one with some cardio), 1 upper body day (with core), 1 full-body day (with core), and 1 cardio day

Equipment Needed: Full gym (hex bar or barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells, bench, and sled; resistance bands preferred but not required)

ACFT
Sprint-Drag-Carry Focused

This program is for those specifically wanting to improve in the sprint-drag-carry, while up-keeping in other areas.

Training Days Per Week: 5

Split: 3 full body days (one of which can be performed from home or on a track) and 2 cardio days

Equipment Needed: Full gym (hex bar or barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells, bench, and sled; resistance bands preferred but not required)

ACFT Push-Up & Plank Focused

This program is for those specifically wanting to improve in the hand-release push-up and plank portions of the ACFT, while up-keeping in other areas.

Split: 2 upper body days (with core), 1 lower body day (with some cardio), 1 full body day, and 1 cardio day
